1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any of Synga's websites, mobile applications, or services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SYNGA PTE. LTD. ("Synga," "we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in Singapore.
If you are using our Services on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and "you" refers to that entity. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use our Services.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.
2. Description of Services
Synga is an AI-powered agricultural technology (AgriTech) company focused on sustainable palm oil and broader smallholder agriculture. Our product suite includes:
- PalmLulus — A free mobile application for palm oil smallholders and field agents that enables digital data collection, palm health monitoring, yield tracking, and EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) compliance reporting. PalmLulus is provided at no cost to smallholders — no subscription fee is required.
- PalmView — An enterprise platform for mill operators, sustainability managers, and buyers providing supply chain visibility, satellite-based land monitoring, geospatial analytics, and EUDR due diligence tools.
- Synga Web Platform — Web-based dashboards, reports, and management tools accessible at synga.ai and related subdomains.
- API Services — Programmatic access to Synga data and analytics for enterprise integrations.
We continually evolve our Services. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time with reasonable notice where practicable.
3. Account Registration & Phone Verification
To access certain features of our Services, you must create an account. Account registration requires a valid mobile phone number, which serves as your primary identifier and authentication credential.
Phone Verification: During registration and on subsequent logins, we will send a one-time password (OTP) verification code to your registered mobile phone number via SMS. You must enter this code to verify your identity and gain access to your account. By registering, you consent to receive these authentication SMS messages from Synga or its SMS service provider.
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate, current, and complete registration information.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- All activities that occur under your account.
- Notifying us immediately at hello@synga.ai if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
- Ensuring your registered mobile number remains active and accessible.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide inaccurate information or that we reasonably suspect have been compromised.
4. User Conduct
You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Services in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services, other accounts, or computer systems connected to our Services.
- Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, spam, or promotional material.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or extract data from our Services without prior written permission.
- Upload or transmit any viruses, malware, or other malicious code.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services or the data contained therein.
- Collect or harvest personal data of other users without their consent.
- Use the Services to store or transmit infringing, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful content.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Services.
Violations of this section may result in immediate termination of your access to the Services and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement authorities.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, software, algorithms, models, interfaces, designs, text, graphics, logos, and technology available through our Services are the exclusive property of SYNGA PTE. LTD. or its licensors and are protected by Singapore and international intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services solely for your internal business purposes, in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include the right to:
- Sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or otherwise commercially exploit the Services.
- Reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works of any content from the Services without our prior written consent.
- Use any Synga trademarks, logos, or trade names without our express written permission.
You retain ownership of any data you submit to the Services ("Your Data"). By submitting Your Data, you grant Synga a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, store, and display Your Data solely to provide and improve the Services. We will not share Your Data with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. SMS / Communications Consent
By registering for a Synga account and providing your mobile phone number, you expressly consent to receive SMS (text message) communications from SYNGA PTE. LTD. for account verification and authentication purposes. This includes:
- One-Time Password (OTP) Codes: Verification codes sent to confirm your identity when creating an account, logging in, or performing sensitive account actions.
- Account Security Alerts: Notifications regarding unusual login activity or security-related events on your account.
Message Frequency: SMS messages are sent only as needed for authentication. You will receive an SMS only when you initiate a login or account verification action. We do not send promotional or marketing SMS messages.
Message & Data Rates: Standard SMS message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Synga is not responsible for any charges imposed by your carrier.
Opting Out: To stop receiving SMS messages from Synga, reply STOP to any message we send, or contact hello@synga.ai. Note that opting out of authentication SMS will prevent OTP-based login.
SMS Provider: SMS messages are delivered via Twilio, Inc. on behalf of SYNGA PTE. LTD. Your phone number is used solely for authentication and is never sold or shared for marketing purposes.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SYNGA EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- Warranties that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
- Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, timeliness, or completeness of any data, content, or information provided through the Services, including satellite imagery, AI-generated analytics, or agronomic recommendations.
Agricultural decisions involve complex variables outside our control. Synga's data and recommendations are intended to assist, not replace, professional agronomic judgment. Users should exercise their own assessment when relying on any output from the Services.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SYNGA PTE. LTD., ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH:
- Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Services.
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Services.
- Any content obtained from the Services.
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
In no event shall Synga's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Services exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you to Synga in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) SGD 100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations on liability. In such cases, the limitations above will apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if we have reason to believe that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or illegal activity, or if we discontinue the Services.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at hello@synga.ai and requesting account deletion. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.
Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, disclaimer of warranties, and governing law) will remain in effect after termination.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding their existence, validity, or termination, shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved within thirty (30) days, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, business practices, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
- Notify registered users via email or in-app notification where feasible.
Your continued use of the Services after any changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Services. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
